The European Network of Historic Gardens organices in Lloret de Mar the first European Forum on Historic Gardens
This forum has the aim of to consolidate this network of Historic Gardens as candidate to the mention “European Cultural Route” that is awarded by the Council of Europe.

Thursday, 7th September
9:00. Accreditation of attenders and delivery of documentation
9:30. Inauguration of Forum
10:00. Conference: *Historic Gardens, past and present of a European Historic and Natural Heritage. *PhD. José Tito Rojo (University of Granada, Spain)
10:45. Coffee-break
11:15. Presentations: Entities and Historic Gardens attending to the Forum (10-15 minutes for each presentation -all the representatives are invited to introduce their institutions and / or Historic Gardens, using video, power-points, brochures…-)

16:00. Conference: *The Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe programme. *Mr. Stephano Dominioni (European Institute of Cultural Routes, Council of Europe, Luxembourg)
16:30. Conference*: Technic proposal for the implementation of a European Cultural Route based on Historic Gardens. Introducing the promotional Website.* Mrs. Anna Fuentes and Mrs. María del Pozo (European Network of Historic Gardens)
17:00. Round Table: The Historic Gardens as tourism resource in the European Cultural Tourism framework. ****Participans: PhD. Jordi Tresserras (University of Barcelona), Ph.D. Ramón Montes (Technical Coordinator of PRAT-CARP Cultural Route) and Mr. Carles Garcia (Architect, expert in Landscaping)
18:30-20:00. Technic visit to Santa Clotilde Historic Garden, XIX Century (comfortable shoes are recommended)

09:00. Conference – colloquium: *Creating a new Cultural Route of Council of Europe: from the idea to the obtention of the Council of Europe’s Mention.
