Natural environment
The Quinteiro da Cruz pazo is located in the Salnés Valley, between the estuaries of Pontevedra and Arousa, in the heart of the Rías Baixas and just 20 km from the city of Pontevedra, 45 km from Vigo and 56 km from Santiago de Compostela.
The Rías Baixas are characterized by the mild climate, the fertility of the land and the richness of the sea, where the marine farming parks are located for the production of mussels, oysters, clams, scallops, etc. Shellfish being a key element of the local economy.
Albariño wine
This landscape, with rounded coasts where mighty rivers flow creating protected valleys, presents a scattered habitat dotted with farmlands, where vine cultivation predominates, for the production of “Albariño” wine, under the Rías Baixas designation of origin. A space in which nature and history come together, giving rise to one of the most beautiful areas of Galicia. Its heritage wealth is evident in monasteries, pazos, churches and fishing villages full of charm. A kilometer away is a Celtic fort from the 3rd century BC. C. to the 1st century A.D. "O Monte do Castro"
