The ERHG proudly patronizes the 2022 edition of the Mihály Mőcsényi Garden History & Garden Art Conference Eszterháza
The 2022 edition of the Conference Mihály Mőcsényi will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2022 at the Esterházy Palace and Garden.

The 2022 edition of the Conference Mihály Mőcsényi will take place from 29 September – 1 October 2022 at the Esterházy Palace and Garden, Eszterháza (Hungary) which was also home to Joseph Haydn, the forefather of musical classicism, for almost three decades. and aims to focus on the connection in between the gardens and the music.
The Conference aims to focus on the connection in between the gardens and the music and is organized by the Hungarian Garden Heritage Foundation, together with the Department of Garden Art and Garden Construction at the Institute of Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning and Garden Art, Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences; the Eszterháza Cultural, Research and Festival Centre and the Ormos Imre Foundation.
The conference will address experts in the fields of landscape architecture, heritage conservation, music and cultural tourism, providing not only a scientific overview but also an insight into current trends of interest to garden heritage. The programmes of the conference are also open to the general public and the summary conclusions are to be published in a conference publication.
