The general joy of returning the Gardens to the Castle
A great family picnic, balloon flights, performances by artists, feasting on green grass, giving the name of the beautiful tulip variety ‘Heart of Warsaw’, the smell of the sea of flowers, the unforgettable Royal Rose Exhibition in Kubicki Arcades…
On May 11, 2019, the Gardens of the Royal Castle in Warsaw celebrated the opening of the Lower Garden. Last year, 50.000 guests made this celebration an amazing birthday party.
This year, the anniversary of the opening of the Gardens, out of concern for our safety, cannot be celebrated to the extent it was planned. However, what is delayed does not escape and they cannot wait to get together again this year! Follow them on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to get updates.
The reconstruction of the Lower Garden
The reconstruction of the Lower Garden symbolically completed the restitution of the Castle and the entire Old Town. The investment was co-financed from the European Regional Development Fund and a special-purpose grant from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland.
This year, the Royal Gardens are also a symbol of hope for a quick return to normal during the epidemic. They are open daily from 10am to 8pm. Free admission!
